As SmartCHANGE transitions from development to deployment, the project’s five feasibility studies, in Ljubljana, Amsterdam, Porto, Jyvaskyla, and Taipei, are now entering their operational phase. This marks a critical milestone: moving from design to real-world large-scale testing of AI-driven risk prediction and lifestyle intervention strategies for children and adolescents.
This 90-minute webinar will offer the first public look at how SmartCHANGE’s mobile health app for families and web-based clinical decision support system for healthcare professionals are being implemented in diverse health and educational settings. Each study site will present its approach, recruitment strategy, adaptations to local healthcare structures, and early experiences from the field and will offer lessons learned into their planning.
Objectives
- Showcase implementation across all feasibility sites, highlighting variations in clinical pathways, participant engagement models, and integration strategies.
- Share practical lessons on deploying AI-based prevention tools in real healthcare workflows.
- Discuss challenges and opportunities emerging from recruitment, ethics approvals, stakeholder buy-in, and technological integration.
- Foster international exchanges among researchers, policymakers, healthcare professionals, and digital health actors.
