The 27th Information Society Multiconference was held from October 7 to 11, 2024, at the Jožef Stefan Institute in Ljubljana, Slovenia. This annual international event brings together researchers to share their latest findings and developments in various areas of the information society.
The multiconference gathered global and local researchers to discuss evolving research directions, business opportunities, and government policies in Europe and North America. Participants exchanged ideas and contribute to a collective vision for the information society.
Institutions and individuals were invited to present new research findings or overviews of advancements in their fields. They also have the opportunity to discuss broader issues, such as the state of science and development in Slovenia, the role of government, and pathways for Slovenia’s progress within the information society.
SmartCHANGE joined this year’s conference to share its project with AI researchers, focusing on its innovative risk prediction methodology. As both the event organiser and a project partner, the Jožef Stefan Institute presented the SmartCHANGE project, providing an opportunity to connect with experts, gather insights, and raise awareness about the project's approach to advancing health-related AI research within the context of the information society.
